Forever Automotive Custom Engraving
Custom Motorcycle Engraving Australia
For Harley-Davidson projects, Phil generally supplies a new, genuine component and engraves it to a design created for you. You can also provide your own suitable component, and parts for other motorcycle makes are assessed individually. Discuss the component with Phil before buying or posting anything.
Australia-Wide Automotive Engraving: interstate customers do not automatically need to send a component if Phil can supply the agreed Harley-Davidson part. Collection or delivery of the finished item is arranged with Phil.

Planning a custom engraving project
What to consider before requesting an engraving quote
You want something made for your motorcycle
Not a catalogue design applied to a stock part, but engraving drawn around the component you already own and the bike it belongs to.
You have artwork, a photograph or wording to adapt
Club artwork, a logo, a name, a date, lettering or a rough sketch can all be worked into a layout that suits the shape of the part.
You are not sure the component is suitable
Material, finish, thickness and condition all matter. Phil assesses the actual part from your photographs and description before anything is agreed.
The engraving area is limited or awkwardly shaped
Curved, recessed and small surfaces need the design positioned deliberately. Placement and scale are decided with the component in mind.
You are working with Phil from interstate
Riders and builders outside Sydney work with Phil at a distance. For Harley-Davidson projects he can generally supply the component, or you can arrange delivery of your own part to Jamisontown.
You want something more personal
A one-off piece that means something to you, rather than an item anyone else can order off a shelf.
What the service includes
From first conversation to a finished component
Pricing depends on the component, the design and the engraving required, so every job is quoted individually after Phil has seen photographs of the part.
Discussion of the component and the design
You describe the part, the bike and what you want engraved. Photographs of the component from a few angles make the conversation far more useful.
Assessment of material, finish, size and engraving area
Phil checks what the component is made of, how it is finished, how thick it is and how much usable engraving area there is before the job is confirmed.
A custom layout for your part
Supplied artwork, photographs, logos, wording or a general idea are laid out for the specific surface, not scaled from a template.
Engraving and appropriate finishing
The confirmed design is engraved and finished in a way suited to that component. Finishing options are discussed and agreed for the actual part rather than promised in advance.
Personal quality checking by Phil
Phil carries out the engraving and checks the finished component himself before it is packed or handed back.
Local collection or arranged return delivery
Collect the component from Jamisontown, or have it repacked and returned by the delivery method you and Phil agree on.
Components and motorcycle makes
The parts riders bring to Phil
- Motorcycle covers
- Brackets
- Trim pieces
- Fabricated components
- Other motorcycle parts assessed individually
Harley-Davidson, Indian, BMW and other motorcycle makes are all welcome. For Harley-Davidson projects Phil generally supplies the genuine component, while components for other makes are assessed individually. What matters is the individual component rather than the badge on the tank, so discuss it with Phil before buying or posting anything.
Forever Milestones is an independent workshop and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Harley-Davidson, Indian, BMW or any dealership.
Derby covers, timing covers and reflector inserts are covered in detail on the derby cover page. See Harley derby cover engraving Australia for how those components are handled.
