Forever Automotive Custom Engraving
Custom Automotive Engraving That Makes Your Machine Your Own
Phil engraves motorcycle and automotive components to your own design, not a pattern from a catalogue. Work is cut deep into the parent material where the component allows, with engraving depth and finishing options assessed for the specific component so the result lives with the bike.
Phil generally supplies new, genuine Harley-Davidson components for custom engraving. Customers may also provide their own suitable motorcycle or automotive part, with each project assessed individually. Contact Phil first so the component, design and delivery arrangements can be agreed before anything is bought or posted.

Engraving methods
- Deep engraving into the parent material

Australia-wide automotive engraving
Riders and builders across every state and territory work with Phil at a distance. For Harley-Davidson projects he can generally supply the new, genuine component, which can save an interstate customer posting an existing part. Your own suitable component is equally welcome.
Forever Milestones is an independent engraving workshop. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Harley-Davidson, Indian or BMW.

The person doing the work
By a Rider, For Riders
As a rider and custom builder, Phil understands why the details matter. Every project is handled personally in his Jamisontown workshop, from discussing the component and design through to engraving and final quality checking. It is careful, hands-on work shaped by experience with motorcycles, fabrication and precision mechanical work.
Before Forever Milestones, Phil spent 32 years in military service as a helicopter mechanic. That background sets the standard here: measure carefully, work to tolerance, check the result, and treat every part as if it were his own.
Why Forever Milestones
Built around your item, not a product list
Family-owned and owner-operated in Jamisontown since September 2022.
Nothing is off the shelf
Every job is drawn and set up for the item in front of Phil, so what you receive is made for your piece and no one else's.
You speak with Phil directly
The person quoting your job is the person engraving it. Nothing is lost between a sales desk and the workshop.
Technical precision and attention to detail
Depth, alignment and finish are checked as the work progresses, drawing on Phil's mechanical and fabrication background.
Experience across materials and unusual items
Metal, glass, wood and stone, with other unusual items assessed individually by Phil.
Careful handling, Australia-wide
Fully insured, with valuable and sentimental items handled and returned with care wherever in Australia they came from.
Our Process
Five steps from idea to finished piece

- 1
Discuss the project
Tell Phil what you would like engraved, the item or component involved, and any deadline that needs to be considered.
- 2
Confirm the component, quote and payment
For Harley-Davidson projects, Phil can generally supply a new, genuine component, or you may provide your own. Other automotive and custom items are assessed individually. Payment is required before artwork, setup and design work begins.
- 3
Artwork and customer proof
Phil prepares the artwork and supplies a proof before engraving begins. Any requested alterations are assessed individually.
- 4
Engraving and quality checking
Once the proof is approved, Phil completes the engraving and checks the finished work.
- 5
Collection or delivery
Collect the finished item from Jamisontown by arrangement, including an after-hours appointment where available, or arrange delivery of the completed item.

Common questions
Questions customers ask before they book
- Can you engrave an item or component that is not listed?
- Almost certainly. The service is fully customisable rather than a fixed catalogue, so if you have something in mind that is not listed, send Phil photographs and a few details about the item and what you would like engraved. He will assess it and let you know what is possible.
- Do I need to send my component to Phil?
- Not always. For Harley-Davidson projects, Phil can generally supply a new, genuine component as part of the agreed project. You may also provide your own suitable part. Car and other automotive components are generally supplied by the customer.
- Do you engrave items I supply myself?
- Yes. Items you supply are welcome and are considered case by case. Phil reviews the material, the condition of the item, the design and the engraving requirements before the work is confirmed.
- What materials can you engrave?
- Metal, glass, wood and stone engraving are available depending on the piece. Suitability comes down to the particular item, its finish and the result you are after, so unusual items are best assessed individually by Phil.
- Can you work from my photograph, logo or design idea?
- Yes. Phil works directly with you to develop a fully customised design, and he can assess supplied artwork, photographs and logos to see how they will translate into an engraved finish.
- How much will my engraving cost?
- Pricing depends on the item, the material, how complex the design is, the engraving method and the finish required. Send photographs and your project details and Phil will prepare a quote for your exact job.
