This ensures the longevity of the wood. After all, if it’s good enough to help a boat endure the rigorous elements of the ocean, then it’s certainly going to endure the elements within a building on a shelf or in a trophy cabinet. All clear acrylic used has perfect optical clarity and is therefore a great alternative to glass making it more durable, while the anodised aluminium and coloured metallic acrylics make a great name plate. Various coloured acrylic can also be used or engravings can be backfilled with paint to add that little bit extra zing.
